Optically this is the 1999 NOKTON 50mm F1.5 Aspherical L(L39) design, re-issued in VM mount with modern coatings — Cosina says so explicitly. Released 2013-06, discontinued 2020-02. The catalog previously recorded this row as 7el/5gr, 236g, filter 43mm, year 2001: not one of those figures is right, and they match neither the L39 original nor this lens.
