Spec Notes
PRESET diaphragm. Physical specs are SINGLE-SOURCE (klassik-cameras, itself compiled second-hand from van Oosten 1999) and are marked low confidence accordingly - they are what a future correction attaches to. Aperture blades NOT SOURCED. NOT THE M42 LENS OF THE SAME NAME: Asahi remounted several of these optics to M42 in 1957 and the catalogue holds the M42 rows separately. Never merge on focal length, aperture and the Takumar name alone. Ricoh's own chronology calls this 'the first interchangeable lens designed for the Asahiflex' (1952); ja.Wikipedia dates it 1953. Conflict preserved. The M42 sibling is catalogued as `takumar-100mm-f35` (1957).
