INTERCHANGEABLE FRONT COMPONENT, not a complete lens. Fits Retina IIc, IIC, IIIc, IIIC and Retina Reflex (type 025) bodies with a SCHNEIDER XENON standard lens only. THE LATER AND MUCH LARGER OF THE TWO 35mm WIDES - reported at more than twice the bulk of the f/5.6, and the camera will not fold with it fitted. FILTER: 58mm, from the thread measurement and corroborated by KEH's {58} catalogue designation; Kodak's '60 mm' filter designation covers this component and the 80mm. Note the limit of Kodak sourcing here: the June 1956 brochure assigns 32mm to 'the wide-angle lens' because the f/5.6 was then the only 35mm sold - the f/4 postdates it, so its filter size is dealer-sourced, not Kodak-sourced. DATES: absent from the 1954 launch books; appears from the 1957-58 IIC/IIIC and Reflex 025 documentation. No source dates the component, so no year field is written.
