INTERCHANGEABLE FRONT COMPONENT, not a complete lens. Fits Retina IIc, IIC, IIIc, IIIC and Retina Reflex (type 025) bodies with a RODENSTOCK HELIGON standard lens only. THE NAME IS NOT EURYGON. In the C system Rodenstock used the single trade name Retina-Heligon C at all three focal lengths; Retina-Eurygon and Retina-Tele-Arton belong to the later DKL bayonet and are already in this catalogue under kodak Retina Dkl. Kodak's IIIC book prints the pairs verbatim: 'RETINA Curtar Xenon C f/5.6 or RETINA Heligon C f/5.6'. FILTER: thread 29.5mm; Kodak's designation is '32 mm'. One dealer lists this component at 32mm and another at 29.5mm - that is Kodak's designation against the measurement, not a real disagreement. DATING ASYMMETRY, carried over from Slice 1: Rodenstock has never published a serial-number-to-year table, so unlike the Schneider components this one cannot be dated from its serial. WEIGHT is a dealer measurement (Kamerastore); the same listing gives '35 x 19 mm' without naming the axes, so diameter and length are omitted. A dealer minimum focus of 0.8 m is also published but NOT recorded: focusing is done by the body helical, so minimum focus is a property of the combination, not of this part.
