INTERCHANGEABLE FRONT COMPONENT, not a complete lens. Fits Retina IIc, IIC, IIIc, IIIC and Retina Reflex (type 025) bodies with a RODENSTOCK HELIGON standard lens only. The Rodenstock counterpart to the Schneider Curtar-Xenon C 35mm f/4, and the rarest of the six components. THE NAME IS NOT EURYGON - see the f/5.6 row. CATALOGUING WARNING: KEH lists this lens under the title 'Schneider 35mm f/4 Retina-Heligon C'. That is a dealer error - Heligon is a Rodenstock name - and it is recorded here because the same mistake in reverse would put this row in the wrong mount. FILTER: 58mm, dealer-sourced (KEH {58}) and consistent with the Schneider f/4; Kodak's corresponding designation is '60 mm', but no Kodak document read covers the f/4 wides. DATES: appears only from the 1957-58 documentation. Weight, dimensions, elements and groups: NOT SOURCED. Rodenstock publishes no serial-to-year table, so this component is not datable from its serial.
