Roughly 50,000 units of the 022 itself. Reomar 45mm f/3.5. Early examples carry the flash socket on the shutter body rather than the front plate. THE SHUTTER IS GENUINELY UNSETTLED: three sources give Compur-Rapid, Synchro-Compur 1-1/500 + B, and a 1-1/300 range. Only the family name is recorded here; the speed range is not. GENERATION FOLDED IN: Type 030, the Retinette I (1958-1960, roughly 80,000 units), which differs by ONE hardware dimension - a new bright-line viewfinder. Lens and shutter carry over unchanged, which the specialist source states directly. Type 030/9 (1958) folds with it. The production range on this row therefore spans both Types, 1954-1960. DELIBERATELY EXCLUDED FROM THIS SLICE: the Retinette f, Types 022/7 and 030/7. Those have a German-made BODY but a French Angenieux lens and a French shutter, and final assembly was in France - they are Kodak-Pathe products, and neither German date-code logic nor Schneider serial dating applies to their glass. A separate assembled In field would be needed to hold them honestly. REOMAR IS A KODAK TRADE NAME, NOT A MAKER. Both Schneider-Kreuznach and Rodenstock supplied Reomars to Kodak AG, the Rodenstock version based on Schneider's original triplet, and the SAME Type appears with both. The maker is therefore a per-example fact resolved from the engraving - 'Schneider-Kreuznach Reomar' or 'Rodenstock Reomar' - exactly the rule this catalogue already applies to the Retina DKL lenses. No maker is asserted on this row.
