Simpler V-shaped pressed-chrome lens and shutter mount; bottom-lever wind; cold shoe with a cable thread; double-exposure prevention, self-timer, parallax marks. *** A FOCAL LENGTH CORRECTED IN VERIFICATION, and it changes why this row exists ***: three sources give this camera a Reomar 50mm f/3.5. That is a propagated error - Schneider never listed a 50mm Reomar for this body. The period Focal Press Retinette Guide of 1960 prints '1 3/8 in. (45 mm.) Reomar f3.5, 4-speed Vero shutter', and surviving cameras are labelled 45mm. So the split from the Type 022/030 row does NOT rest on a focal-length change, as an earlier draft had it. It rests on two real dimensions: the SHUTTER (Compur-Rapid gives way to the 4-speed Vero) and the FILM ADVANCE (bottom lever). The same Focal Press guide records that from 1961, mid-Type, the lens became the f/2.8 Reomar. DELIBERATELY EXCLUDED: Type 035/7, the French-market version with an Angenieux lens and a French shutter. Note that one source files 035/7 as a 'Retinette f'; it is not - the specialist camera list and a second source both file it as a Retinette IA. REOMAR IS A KODAK TRADE NAME, NOT A MAKER. Both Schneider-Kreuznach and Rodenstock supplied Reomars to Kodak AG, the Rodenstock version based on Schneider's original triplet, and the SAME Type appears with both. The maker is therefore a per-example fact resolved from the engraving - 'Schneider-Kreuznach Reomar' or 'Rodenstock Reomar' - exactly the rule this catalogue already applies to the Retina DKL lenses. No maker is asserted on this row.
