Research
Chris Sherlock, retinarescue.com (per-Type pages); Focal Press Retinette Guide (1960) and Retina Reflex Guide; Kodak Retinette I instruction manual (imprint 'KODAK AG - STUTTGART - WANGEN'); Kodak Retina S1 manual; Science Museum Group object records; camerapedia; collection-appareils.fr; kodakverzameling.nl; bvipirate.com. cameracollector.net is deliberately NOT relied on for values - it failed three independent checks in the adversarial pass.

Spec Notes
THE LAST CAMERAS TO CARRY THE RETINA NAME - plastic-bodied viewfinder cameras, a long way from the folding Retinas that opened this line. Kodak's own US instruction manual gives the lens as a 45mm f/2.8 Schneider Retina lens stopping to f/22, speeds 1/30, 1/60, 1/125, 1/250 plus Flash and B, and the format as 135 in 20- or 36-exposure magazines, 24 x 36 mm. Note the manual is imprinted Rochester - that is the distributor, not the factory; the camera is German. Focus by estimation. Neither exposure meter nor rangefinder. GENERATION FOLDED IN: Type 061, the Retina S2, same 1966-1969 run, which differs by ONE hardware dimension - a coupled selenium meter. Same lens, same shutter, same body. Searchable under both names. A source defect worth not propagating: the specialist page for the S2 carries 'type 060' in its HTML title and 'type 061' in its heading; 061 is correct. REOMAR IS A KODAK TRADE NAME, NOT A MAKER. Both Schneider-Kreuznach and Rodenstock supplied Reomars to Kodak AG, the Rodenstock version based on Schneider's original triplet, and the SAME Type appears with both. The maker is therefore a per-example fact resolved from the engraving - 'Schneider-Kreuznach Reomar' or 'Rodenstock Reomar' - exactly the rule this catalogue already applies to the Retina DKL lenses. No maker is asserted on this row.
