The last prewar Retina, July 1941, EXPORT ONLY, roughly 2,000 units. Functionally a Retinette Type 160 with a chrome top cover and front-cell focusing. Lens: Kodak-Anastigmat 5cm f/4.5 or f/3.5. The AGC K4S shutter is an Alfred Gauthier Calmbach unit, not a Deckel Compur - a new shutter supplier alongside a new lens, which is why this is its own row. *** A CLAIM REFUTED IN VERIFICATION ***: one collector site dates the 167 to 1946 and calls it 'a Retinette built from mixed parts'. The date is wrong - the serial 379625K sits inside Kodak AG's 1937-41 K-suffix block, and the K suffix does not appear postwar. The Retinette kernel of that claim is right: the 167 IS Retinette-derived.
