*** AN IDENTITY ROW, DELIBERATELY. NO LENS AND NO SHUTTER ARE RECORDED. *** What is solid is the identity: AA-13 prints 'No. 3A KODAK Series III Camera 1941 1943 122 53.00', verbatim and identical in both scans, and the pamphlet annotates every imported model explicitly - 'Imported from KLtd.', '(KODAK AG)' - while this line carries no such annotation and a US-dollar figure. What is NOT solid is everything else. No museum holds one; Historic Camera has only a bare index line. The only hardware description found anywhere is a single forum thread giving a Kodak Anastigmat f/6.3 in a Kodamatic No. 2, 1/10 to 1/200 with T and B, and dating the introduction to July 1941 with discontinuation in 1943 for low sales. A forum corroborates; it does not establish, and one forum with nothing to corroborate establishes nothing at all - so the lens and shutter keys are ABSENT rather than guessed. ROCHESTER MANUFACTURE IS INFERRED from AA-13's own annotation convention, not sourced. The price conflict runs the other way from usual: AA-13's $53.00 is BELOW the $55.75 a February 1942 catalogue supplement is reported to carry, where AA-13 normally quotes the top of the ladder. NO PRICE IS RECORDED ON THIS ROW. AA-13's 'ORIGINAL LIST PRICE' column is a TOP-OF-LADDER figure rather than a list price - established in slice 7 and confirmed again here, where AA-13 gives the Kodak Junior Six-16 $12.00, which is the CHEAPEST rung of the 1935-36 ladder, not the dearest. The column cannot be ingested as a price field. DATES ARE MARKET DATES, NOT PRODUCTION. Kodak's AA-13 heads its columns 'ON THE MARKET FROM / TO'. No Kodak-published production date exists for any camera in this slice. DATING: NONE EXISTS FOR THIS CAMERA. No Kodak serial-to-year table was ever published for any Rochester body, and the CAMEROSITY lens code runs only from about 1940 and only on Ektar, Anastigmat Special and Anastar lenses - none of which this camera was sold with in a year the code was in use.
