*** THIS ROW EXISTS BECAUSE THE ADVERSARIAL PASS REFUTED A FOLD, AND THE DECIDING FIGURE WAS VERIFIED DIRECTLY. *** The research brief folded this camera into the No. 2 Bulls-Eye at one dimension, because Kodak's 1910, 1912 and 1913 catalogues print a single combined heading, 'Nos. 2 and 3 Bull's-Eye Kodaks', with one lens spec, one shutter and one price. But KODAK'S 1908 CATALOGUE - THIS CAMERA'S FIRST YEAR - GIVES IT ITS OWN PAGE AND ITS OWN SPECIFICATION: 'Lens, Meniscus Achromatic, fixed 5-inch focus' against the No. 2's 'fixed 4~-inch focus'. A CLEAN INTEGER BESIDE A CORRUPT FRACTION, so the distinction survives exactly the corruption that would sink it. The combined heading is the unreliable witness: its single lens figure reads 4-3/4 in 1910 and 1912 but 4-1/2 in 1913 - the same block, three years, two values. Format (rectangular against square, Kodak's own prose and therefore the stable class) plus focal length is two dimensions; the larger box is ENTAILED by the format and is not counted, on the same rule that corrected the Six-16 split. The film numbers are attributions, not Kodak's - but Kodak's 1913 combined entry concedes two different films by printing two prices for the cartridge. THE FILM NUMBER IS NOT KODAK'S OWN. Kodak names no film number for these cameras in any catalogue of the period - it prints only 'N. C. Film Cartridge, 12 exposures'. The numbers 101, 102, 103 and 124 reach this catalogue from AA-13 and from museum records, and are recorded as attributions rather than as Kodak designations. NO PRICE IS RECORDED. AA-13's price column is not a list price; where a figure decides a row shape it is quoted in these notes instead. DATES ARE MARKET DATES, NOT PRODUCTION - AA-13 heads its columns 'ON THE MARKET FROM / TO'. Where Kodak's own catalogue presence contradicts AA-13 the conflict is recorded on the row and NOT resolved. DATING: NONE EXISTS. No serial-to-year mapping and no date code was ever published for any Kodak of this era, and Kodak's catalogues print no serial anywhere. Kodak DID stamp model letters inside some bodies - The Henry Ford transcribes 'IN ORDERING SUPPLIES FOR THIS CAMERA ALWAYS SPECIFY FOR NO. 2 BULL'S-EYE, MODEL D' - but a supply-ordering label is a marking, not a dating scheme.
