NOT SIMPLY AN AUTOMATIC 35 WITH A MOTOR - three dimensions. FILM ADVANCE: a spring motor giving ten exposures per wind. SHUTTER: four speeds against the Automatic 35's two. METER: ASA 10-800 against 10-160, the widest range in this slice. And unlike the 35B it KEEPS manual aperture control alongside the automatic. $109.50. Kodak's own editions disagree on the wind: the Motormatic 35 manual says ten exposures in six seconds, the 35F and 35R4 manuals say ten in ten seconds. Both are Kodak's; neither is recorded as a value. A CLAIM NOT USED: one collector site reports an early Motormatic 35 with the two-speed Synchro 80. Kodak's own manual gives the four-speed Automatic Flash Shutter, no second source supports the two-speed story, and that same site misidentifies the Automatic 35's shutter as a Synchro Compur, which it certainly was not. GENERATIONS FOLDED IN: the 35F (1962-67) and 35R4 (1965-69), differing by flash hardware only - built-in pop-up AG-1, then flashcube. Whether the Motormatic shares the Signet 50 shell is NOT SOURCED; the one reviewer who looked said he could not confirm it. Weight and dimensions NOT SOURCED. DATING: NONE. The CAMEROSITY lens prefix is attested only on Ektar, Anastigmat Special and Anastar lenses. No prefixed EKTANAR or ANASTON serial could be found in Kodak literature, museum records, dealer inventory or auction text, and no source states whether those tiers are inside or outside the scheme - so this camera is NOT datable from its lens. The four-letter body date code that cheap Kodaks carry is not sourced for this model either. DATES ARE MARKET DATES, NOT PRODUCTION. Kodak's own AA-13 heads its columns 'ON THE MARKET FROM / TO', and no Kodak-published production date exists for any camera in this slice - every third-party 'production years' figure checked is a restatement of AA-13.
