A moulded-plastic vertical folder, and architecturally a different camera from the Six-16 and Six-20 Jiffys, which are metal and leather with brilliant finders. Kodak's 1935-36 catalogue: 'A MOLDED KODAK - Jiffy Kodak V.P. has a light but strong body of black, molded material, with permanent, built-in glossy finish and ornamental raised ribbing. Removable back.' Folding direct-view EYE-LEVEL finder. THE WEIGHT IS KODAK'S OWN AND IS THE ONLY PUBLISHED WEIGHT OR DIMENSION IN THIS SLICE: the same catalogue entry reads 'Weight, unloaded, only 10 ounces', recorded here as 284 g. It is a rounded marketing figure, not a measurement to three digits. NEGATIVE SIZE IS DELIBERATELY ABSENT: three fetches of three Kodak catalogues returned three different fractions for it, and the Pacific Rim OCR is known to corrupt vulgar fractions specifically while rendering words and dollar figures stably. The most likely reading is 1 5/8 x 2 1/2 in, but 'most likely' is not sourced. AA-13 MIRROR DISCREPANCY: 'JIFFY KODAK V. P.' with a space in the brownie-camera scan, 'V.P.' without in the Pacific Rim scan. DATING: NONE EXISTS FOR THIS CAMERA. No Kodak serial-to-year table was ever published for any Rochester body, and the CAMEROSITY lens code runs only from about 1940 and only on Ektar, Anastigmat Special and Anastar lenses - none of which this camera was sold with in a year the code was in use.
