Introduction price $150 (June 1927). Spring motor, one wind runs a little under a minute. 50 or 100 ft spool, 16 fr/s. Eye-level finder with 25mm field; peep-sight conversion for the 78mm. GENERATIONS: 1925-27 examples are FIXED LENS (20mm f/6.5, then 20mm f/3.5 from April 1926) screwed into an internal front plate on a parochial thread; the Model B lever-lock mount arrives 1928. TWO INTERMEDIATE FITTINGS ARE DELIBERATELY NOT MODELLED AS MOUNTS: a June 1927 25mm f/1.9 on a three-screw foot plate, which Kerr calls "not an interchangeable lens mount ... the precursor of one", and a rare factory thumbscrew retrofit whose lens range Kerr says is unknown. Kerr believes no further lenses were ever made in the Model B mount. SERIAL NUMBERS: these bodies DO carry serials (Kerr's own Special is number 330; a Science Museum Group Royal Magazine is 65678) but NO Cine-Kodak serial-to-year scheme is published anywhere - checked across all four Kerr monographs, Wikipedia, Pacific Rim Camera's Cine reference library and two museum catalogues. Date these bodies by model production window only.
