Introduction price $335 outfit (1923); body alone $125 / $200 (1924). THE FIRST. Kerr: hand crank only, 16 fr/s nominal set by cranking at 2 rev/s - unregulated. 50 or 100 ft spool; 100 ft runs a little over 4 minutes. Internal finder switchable waist-level / eye-level (earliest examples eye-level only); the waist-level image is reversed left-to-right. A wet-cell electric motor drive attachment was sold later and withdrawn. GENERATIONS: 1923-26 examples are FIXED LENS (25mm f/3.5 or f/1.9, not interchangeable); the Model A interchangeable thread mount arrives in 1927. Folded as one row, one hardware dimension. Only TWO lenses were ever available for it: Kodak Anastigmat 25mm f/1.9 and 78mm f/4.5. Mount thread specification NOT SOURCED - Kerr: "We have no further information on this mount." Approximately 7.5 lb loaded with 100 ft, and about 8.5 x 8.0 x 4.5 in - die-cast aluminium. The ONLY Cine-Kodak body with published weight and dimensions. SERIAL NUMBERS: these bodies DO carry serials (Kerr's own Special is number 330; a Science Museum Group Royal Magazine is 65678) but NO Cine-Kodak serial-to-year scheme is published anywhere - checked across all four Kerr monographs, Wikipedia, Pacific Rim Camera's Cine reference library and two museum catalogues. Date these bodies by model production window only.
