US EXPORT NAME AGFAFLEX III. Agfa published an instruction book headed AGFAFLEX III / IV / V and a separate one headed Agfaflex I / II; the III/IV/V book is the one describing a removable lens, so Agfa itself draws the fixed/interchangeable line between II and III. Metering is coupled, in Agfa's words, to both the aperture ring and the shutter-speed ring. NO PRODUCTION RANGE ROW: the start year is 1958 in one uncited collector price guide and 1959 in another collector article, and nothing better exists; production Start is NOT NULL so the row is omitted rather than guessed. SHUTTER SPEEDS OMITTED: B and 1-1/300 is collector-sourced only; Agfa's own book says the speeds are engraved on the setting ring without enumerating them. INSTANT-RETURN MIRROR NOT SOURCED - the passage collectors cite describes the AUTOMATIC DIAPHRAGM, not the mirror. WEIGHT NOT PUBLISHED. Production years bound the MODEL, not an individual specimen. Sources differ on whether they describe first production or first market release and none says which.
